What are these?

We're developing earrings with small displays on them.

You can make the earrings display whatever you want. Just choose a video, gif, or picture, plug the earring into your computer with USB-C, and upload it to the earring with our app!

These earrings work with MacOS, Windows, and most Linux distros.
 

Specs:

Final specs and pricing are TBD and will be available closer to launch, but here's the current plan:

• Display: 128x128 pixel grayscale display (with backlight)
• Weight: 6 grams (still very comfortable)
• Charging / video upload: USB-C
• Memory: Enough for about 15 minutes of video
• Battery life: approximately 8 hours
• Cost: around $100 (per earring)
• Compatible OSes: MacOS, Linux, Windows

When?

We started developing these in mid-2023. A prototype for the mass-market version will be ready in March 2024, and if everything goes well, we'll do a small manufacturing run in Summer 2024.

Who?

These were created by John Mamish based off of an idea by Shize Che. The mass market version wouldn't be possible without Julien Knight's hard engineering work.
